Biography
The music of Don Law has been described as heartfelt and explosive.

Don has been perfoming as a Singer/Songwriter solo act in the Atlanta area since 1998. His unusual ability to change his voice to suit the song and a versatile Alternative Country Soul style allow him to cross-over into many genres and be believable in rock, country, folk, soul, and grunge. Don has written over 200 songs varying from melodic wedding songs, poetic Christian, comical country, to heavy progressive political protests.

Don is a multi-instrumentalist composing music on drums, keyboards, guitar, bass, and harmonica. In 1977, Don Law started a band called Pythagoras singing lead vocals and playing his vintage drumset that he still plays today, a 1977 red vista-lite Ludwig 5 piece set similar to the one played by his favorite drummer, John Bonham of Led Zeppelin. Several band members came and went as the band Pythagoras came to an end in 1993 but not Don's love of music. Continuing to write songs, Don became familiar with home studio recording and spent countless hours developing his solo act. Recording his own background music, Don was able to create original versions of cover music and taylor his show to fit his personality.

*In 2011, Don Law was voted "Best Entertainer of the Year" by Gwinnett Magazine.

Don has also contributed performances for fund raising efforts such as a 9/11 concert in Atlanta, "Ride For Hope" for The South Eastern Brain Tumor Foundation, The American Diabetes Foundation, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Humane Society, The Ride For Special Needs to raise money for The Special Needs School of Gwinnett, and most recently in Spring of 2016, "Ride to Survive" for Leukemia Research that helps those afflicted to survive WhenEveryoneSurvives.org.

In 2000, Don Law met and became close friends with his 12 year mentor the late Joe South - two time Grammy Award Winner and Atlanta native songwriter. Aside from Joe South's grammy award winning performance of his song "Games People Play", Joe had several number one hits covered by other artists such as Lynn Anderson's "Rose Garden", Deep Purple's "Hush", Elvis Presley's "Walk a mile in my shoes", and Billy Joe Royal's "Down in the boondocks" to name a few.
